Day Without Childcare

Kids Count on Us is putting on their second annual Day Without Childcare, a day to take action around the state of Minnesota to show our elected officials what happens when childcare disappears. Childcare centers are closing for the day and events are being held to highlight the need for affordable and high-quality childcare. Check out the Duluth schedule below and join us where you can!

Monday, March 3

9-10:30am: Sign-making and parent connection at The Duluth Children’s Museum. Come solo or with your kids to connect with other parents and talk about your experiences with childcare, and learn more about how to support childcare in our community.

11am-12:15pm: Labor of Love screening & discussion at Young Minds Learning Center (1115 N. Lake Avenue)

12:30-1pm: Press conference at Young Minds Learning Center and walk to rally
